Following Samsung and LG, ASUS has also announced a new monitor – the ROG Swift PG27UCDM.
The manufacturer markets the monitor as 27 inches, but in reality, its screen has a diagonal of 26.5 inches. This is a 4K QD-OLED panel monitor (3840×2160 resolution, 166 ppi) with a refresh rate of 240Hz. It features 10-bit color depth and a 99% DCI-P3 color space coverage. It also supports HDR10, Dolby Vision, and True Black 400. The new monitor also boasts an extremely low response time of just 0.03 ms.
According to ASUS, the monitor features fourth-generation QD-OLED technology, which gives it a longer lifespan compared to previous-generation OLED displays. The monitor also includes OLED Anti-Flicker 2.0 technology, which reduces flickering at variable frame rates by 20%.
Regarding connectivity, the device features DisplayPort 2.1a as well as an HDMI 2.1 port.
ASUS will reveal the price of the ROG Swift PG27UCDM at CES 2025. However, given its technical specifications, it is unlikely to be inexpensive.
