In 2024, Ukrainians purchased nearly 70,000 new cars. In December alone, more than 5,500 passenger vehicles were sold, which is a 6% decrease compared to 2023, reports UkrAvtoProm.
Among the most popular car brands in December 2024 were Toyota, Skoda, Renault, Volkswagen, and Peugeot.
A total of 69,600 new passenger cars were registered over the year, marking a 14% increase compared to 2023.
The best-seller of the year was the compact crossover Renault Duster, with 6,826 units of this model joining the domestic car fleet in 2024. The top 10 car companies by the number of vehicles sold in 2024 were:
- Toyota - 10,731 units
- Renault - 7,266 units
- Skoda - 5,033 units
- Volkswagen - 4,899 units
- BMW - 4,833 units
- Nissan - 2,777 units
- Hyundai - 2,618 units
- Peugeot - 2,474 units
- Suzuki - 2,301 units
- Mazda - 2,256 units
