Players have flooded Assassin's Creed Origins with negative reviews on Steam due to constant crashes on Windows 11 24H2. It's worth mentioning that this time, Ubisoft truly doesn't deserve this.

The 24H2 update has caused a number of performance issues in games. Specifically, due to a conflict with Easy Anti-Cheat, players are encountering black screens or are unable to launch the game at all.
This problem has even affected Microsoft's own games, such as Halo: The Master Chief Collection and Sea of Thieves. The issue has been known for several months, yet Microsoft has yet to resolve it.
What remains unclear is why players' frustration is so focused on Origins, as the issue has also affected other games from the studio, including Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, Assassin’s Creed Odyssey, Star Wars Outlaws, and Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora.
The likely reason for the outcry is that during the Steam Winter Sale, which ends today, Assassin's Creed Origins is available at its lowest price among the new RPG series games—just 91 UAH. This has led to more players encountering the issues, further amplifying the frustration.
Currently, the only way to resolve this issue is to roll back Windows 11 to the previous version, 23H2. Microsoft has even limited the release of updates on PCs with Ubisoft games installed. However, users can still install the game after the update or manually install the update.
