Soon, Google Gemini will introduce new customization options that will give users more control over content generated by the bot. Android Authority analyzed the beta version of the Google app for Android (15.51.24.sa.arm6) and shared the discovered changes.
A new option will appear in Gemini settings, likely allowing users to filter results by content type. Currently, enabling this feature yields no results and simply redirects to the Google Gemini page, which is not yet functional.
Google has officially defined its content policy for Gemini, with clear goals to avoid certain types of materials. Developers can utilize detailed security settings in Gemini, enabling them to manage various "harmful categories," such as hate speech or explicit sexual content.
Given that this functionality is currently available, it's likely that Google may extend a similar level of control to end-users of Gemini.
