According to Bloomberg's Mark Gurman, Apple is working on a new version of the Magic Mouse.
In his report, Gurman said that recently, Apple has been developing a “complete refresh” of the Magic Mouse with a design that “better suits the modern era.” However, we shouldn't expect a new product in the coming months. If everything goes according to the plan, the device will debut on the market no earlier than mid-2026.

The gadget will also be more ergonomic and convenient to use. In addition, Apple will finally fix the main drawback of the current model — the inconvenient location of the charging port. It will be moved to another location.
As a reminder, Apple recently updated the Magic Mouse, replacing the Lightning port with USB-C, but it is still located at the bottom of the mouse. That means you can't use the device while it's charging.
