New photos of the upcoming affordable Google Pixel 9a smartphone have appeared online. They were published by Chinese insider @feni_book.

On the front side, the smartphone hasn't changed and demonstrates a familiar design with a centered selfie camera notch, flat edges, and minimal bezels.
The back design, however, is very different from both the Pixel 8a and Pixel 9 series. The smartphone will have a flat back cover instead of the rounded edges of the previous version. Also, the rear camera module will no longer have a horizontal protrusion, but instead will have a smaller oval island with two camera sensors and a separate flash.
By the way, these images confirm previous renders of the smartphone from an OnLeaks insider.
In terms of specifications, the device will have a 6.3-inch Actua display with an adaptive refresh rate of up to 120 Hz and a Tensor G4 chip.
Pixel 9a is expected to be released in March 2025. The smartphone will cost $499, which is $300 less than the Pixel 9 and $500 less than the Pixel 9 Pro.
