Artist and designer Jose Wong has created real sneakers based on the Apple emoji. The model is called Shoe 1. It was released under the ABCD brand, The Verge reports.

The upper part of the shoe is made of nubuck with a mesh for breathability, while the midsole and heel are made of lightweight EVA foam with a polyurethane rim.

The rubber outsole of the Shoe 1 is made using five percent recycled rubber, and the foam insoles inside have an electronic print that refers to the A-series processes that Apple uses in its mobile devices.

Even the box for the Shoe 1 was inspired by the minimalist design of Apple's own packaging.

If the Shoe 1 and the Apple sneaker emoji look familiar to you, it's because their design is similar to the silhouette of the New Balance 574 sneaker, which was first introduced in 1988. By the way, Steve Jobs was known for wearing New Balance sneakers, but he was most often seen in the 991 and 992 models.
