Bang & Olufsen has introduced new premium fully wireless headphones.
We are talking about the Beoplay Eleven model. Each headphone weighs 6 grams, and the charging case weighs 53 grams. According to the technical specifications, the headphones and case are made of a mixture of materials, including aluminum, special tempered glass, polymer, and silicone. Beoplay Eleven have an IP57 dust and water protection rating.
The novelty comes with noise cancellation technology. It is reportedly twice as good as the Beoplay Ex model. The headphones also have a transparency mode that is 1.8 times better.
Beoplay Eleven features 9.2 mm drivers, six MEMS microphones, touch controls, and Wind Guard to reduce wind noise during calls. They support Bluetooth 5.2 with Multipoint, Google Fast Pair, Microsoft Swift Pair, aptX Adaptive, AAC, SBC codecs, and are Made for iPhone (MFi) certified.
In terms of autonomy, Beoplay Eleven provides up to 6 hours of playback with ANC enabled (20 hours with the case) and 8 hours with ANC disabled (28 hours with the case). One of the advantages of the headphones is that they are equipped with replaceable batteries, but they can only be replaced by a service center, not the user.
This feature was added to comply with a new EU law that requires consumer products to have replaceable batteries.
The case of the new product can be charged via USB-C and Qi wireless technology. Buyers receive silicone tips of four sizes and a charging cable as part of the package.
Beoplay Eleven is already available on the manufacturer's website for $499/€499. The model is available in Natural Aluminum color. Starting December 17, 2024, a second color called Copper Tone will be available.
