Bloomberg insider and journalist Mark Gurman continues to reveal information about Apple's smart display.
This time, Gurman said that the new product is expected in March 2025. The device will have a 6-inch touchscreen display. The gadget will be able to be hung on the wall.
The new operating system will look like a mix of iPhone standby mode and watchOS, although it will be controlled mainly by voice. Apple plans to integrate Apple Intelligence into the system to access applications and manage smart home products.
It's described as an iPad-like smart device for controlling your home.

For example, when no one is around, the smart display will be able to show the temperature, but as soon as someone approaches, it will switch to the interface to set the thermostat. The device will also be able to detect how many people are nearby using external sensors.
The new device will have a FaceTime camera and built-in speakers. The device will come with various applications. For example, Safari, Apple News, Apple Music, Notes, Calendar, and Photos, but the gadget will not support the App Store.
The device will compete with Amazon and Google smart displays. By the way, Apple is also developing another version of the smart screen. It will debut later and will feature a robotic stand.
