Ukrainian software developer MacPaw is cutting its team by 20%. IT entrepreneur and founder and CEO of the company Oleksandr Kosovan announced this on his Facebook page.
"After carefully analyzing the situation and discussing all possible options, we have made the difficult decision to reduce our team by 20%. This is one of the most difficult leadership decisions of my career, but unfortunately it is necessary to ensure the long-term sustainability of MacPaw," wrote the CEO.
According to Kosovan, MacPaw faced serious financial challenges, and to maintain stability, the company made a difficult decision.
Nevertheless, the CEO says that the reduction will not affect MacPaw's core business activities. The company will continue to develop products and technologies, supporting customers and the team.
MacPaw is a Ukrainian technology company known for its software. It was founded in 2008 by Oleksandr Kosovan in Kyiv. The company has created popular products such as CleanMyMac for system optimization, Gemini for finding duplicate files, and Setapp, a subscription service for accessing applications.
