Meta continues to improve WhatsApp by announcing a new feature for the messenger.
The app got its own lists. This is an evolution of conversation filters, which were introduced in early 2024 as a way to find messages faster.
With custom lists, you can filter chats by your own categories. For example, family, work, etc. You can add not only a single chat but also a group to the list.
To create a list, click on the "+" in the filter panel. To edit a list, just hold it down.
The new feature will be available to all WhatsApp users in the coming weeks.
