The Internet has repeatedly reported that Samsung is working on the Galaxy A56 smartphone. Thanks to GalaxyClub, we now know some of the details of the new product.
The Galaxy A56 is expected to have a similar camera setup to its predecessors, with a 50-megapixel primary camera, a 12-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 5-megapixel macro lens.
However, Samsung is planning to make significant changes to the front camera, replacing the outdated 32-megapixel sensor with a new 12-megapixel one. This move is likely to improve the quality of selfies, especially in low light conditions.
In terms of performance, Samsung plans to use the Exynos 1580 processor, the successor to the Exynos 1480. The Korean manufacturer will also increase support for the device. The smartphone will be updated for 6 years, just like the recently introduced Galaxy A16 5G.
The release of Galaxy A56 is expected in the spring of 2025. The device will cost around €450-500.
By the way, GalaxyClub also revealed that Samsung is currently working on three foldable smartphones. One of them is likely to be a simplified version of the Galaxy Fold 7.
