The God Of War series has been going through hard times. Recently, it became known that the project would be restarted from scratch after showrunner Rafe Judkins, along with producers Hawke Ostby and Mark Fergus, left the project.
But it seems that now the series is not in danger, as Ronald D. Moore has joined the production as a writer, executive producer and showrunner. Deadline writes about it.
Ronald D. Moore is known for such movies and TV series as For All Mankind, Star Trek, and Battlestar Galactica.
Santa Monica Studio creative director Corey Barlog remains executive producer of the series along with Asad Kizilbash and Carter Swan from PlayStation Productions, as well as Hermen Hulst from Sony Interactive Entertainment and Roy Lee from Vertigo.
So far, there are no details about the series' plot and cast. It is also not known what setting the authors will choose for the series: will it be a modern vision of the "God of War" in Norse mythology, or will it be an epic return to Greece? We can only wait for more details.
