Details of the Google Pixel 9a smartphone continue to appear on the Internet. This time, the information was shared by Android Headlines.
According to the leak, Google plans to update the Pixel 9a camera. The manufacturer will ditch the 64-megapixel sensor in favor of a 48-megapixel one. The same sensor is now installed in the foldable Pixel 9 Pro Fold smartphone.
While the main camera will change, the ultra-wide-angle camera is said to remain the same as the one used in the Pixel 8a, with a resolution of 13 MP. The front camera will not change either.
As for other specifications of the smartphone, it will have a 6.1-inch display, 8 GB of RAM, and 128 GB of storage. Of course, the new model will run on an updated chip - Tensor G4, instead of Tensor G3. Also, the battery of the new model may be slightly larger. The Pixel 8a has a battery capacity of 4492 mAh.
The Pixel 9a release should not be expected in the coming months. Most likely, the gadget will debut in the spring of 2025.
