AMD teases new flagship X3D (Ryzen 9000) desktop processors based on Zen 5 architecture. AMD promises to show and tell everything on November 7, 2024. This was reported by The Verge.
The company reminds us of the release of new processors just before the launch of Intel's Core Ultra 200 series on October 24. Rumors suggested that AMD would announce the new processors the day after Intel's embargo on Ultra 9 285K ends.
Thanks to other leaks, we expect to hear more about the 9800X3D soon, and it will likely be the first next-generation X3D processor with eight cores. It is reported to have a base clock speed of 4.7 GHz, and 5.2 GHz in boost.
These upcoming chips may not give a significant increase in gaming compared to the 7000 series X3D chips. However, they should still outperform the new Intel processors.
