Ferrari is once again creating a "dream supercar" and returning to the F-designation: just think of the Ferrari F40 and Ferrari F50 from the 1980s and 1990s.

The new Ferrari F80 supercar visually follows all the canons of the supercar genre. It has a considerable length (4.84 m) and width (2.06 m), a minimum body height (1.14 m), numerous channels and air intakes, and a large rear wing. Among the new design solutions is a black element that unites the headlights, as on the Ferrari 12Cilindri.

The new Ferrari F80 supercar is equipped with a very interesting hybrid powerplant. First, the main engine is a 3-liter gasoline V6 with two turbines. Secondly, it is assisted by a 60 kW (81 hp) electric motor, and then an 8-speed "robot" takes over, transmitting all the power and torque to the rear wheels.

Finally, third: a pair of electric motors (each 105 kW or 142 hp) installed in the front and driving the right/left wheel separately. Thus, the Ferrari F80 model has been equipped with all-wheel drive. The battery of the hybrid system operates at 800V, but has a small capacity (only 2.3 kWh) and does not require recharging from an external network.

The total power of the hybrid reaches 1200 hp, which immediately makes the new Ferrari F80 the most powerful road car in the history of Ferrari. The dynamics and top speed meet expectations - acceleration to "hundred" in 2.15 seconds and 350 km/h maximum. The suspension with double wishbones and active stabilizers, brakes with carbon-ceramic discs, and aerodynamics that generate a downforce of up to 1000 kg at 250 km/h help keep the car under control with such power and speed characteristics.

Finally, the interior of the new Ferrari F80 is also interesting. The interior is made according to the "1+" formula with an emphasis on the driver's seat: it is highlighted in red, a cockpit with instruments and displays is built around it, and a flattened steering wheel is installed. The passenger's seat, on the other hand, is a plain black color and is moved slightly back.

The estimated cost of the new Ferrari F80 is already known - from 3.6 million euros. But even with such fabulous money, it is still impossible to get a car right now, because the first copies of the Ferrari F80 will be produced and delivered to customers only at the end of 2025.
