At the event on October 30, 2024, Nothing will announce a special version of Phone (2a).
The new device will be called Nothing Phone (2a) Community Edition. The design of the device was created by the Nothing community. The project was launched in early 2024.

The biggest difference will be in the design of the gadget's back panel. It will have a phosphorescent element that glows in the dark. This will be a unique feature of the smartphone.
Custom wallpapers will also be part of a special version of the device. They will combine hand-drawn elements and various tools for sketching, digitizing, generating artificial intelligence, and post-editing.

As for the characteristics of Nothing Phone (2a) Community Edition, they will not change: AMOLED display with 120 Hz support, MediaTek Dimensity 7200 Pro chip, 5000 mAh battery, dual 50 MP camera, IP54 protection, in-screen fingerprint scanner, NFC and stereo speakers.
