Apple TV+ streaming service has officially confirmed that Slow Horses will get a 6th season.
Slow Horses is a British spy series based on the novels by Mick Herron. The story revolves around a group of detached British intelligence agents who work in a department called Slow Horses. Their task is to perform unattractive, routine work.
The protagonist is Jackson Lamb (played by Gary Oldman), an experienced but cynical team leader. Despite their status as underdogs, the Lame Horse team finds themselves embroiled in dangerous conspiracies and espionage intrigues, proving their worth.
The series has been recognized for its gripping storyline, black humor, and skillful acting, especially Gary Oldman as Lamb.
By the way, season 4 of the series was recently released on Apple TV+. Apple is also finishing production on season 5, which will debut in 2025. As for Season 6, it is likely to be released in 2026.
