NVIDIA has confirmed its presence at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2025. Jensen Huang will speak on January 6, 2025, the day before CES opens to the public. The company will present something important at this event.
It is likely that these will be GeForce RTX 5090 and RTX 5080 based on Blackwell. According to preliminary reports, the RTX 5090 will have 32 GB of GDDR6 VRAM 28 Gbps on a 512-bit bus.
It was planned that the company would present its top-end graphics cards before the rest of the lineup, back in 2024. But since their presentation has been delayed, it is quite possible that NVIDIA will present the entire RTX 50xx line at CES 2025.
The company may also present its RTX 50xx variants for laptops. Historically, NVIDIA usually launched them at CES. This time, however, the "greens" have enough time to finalize their hardware due to the lack of serious competition from AMD, which has publicly refused to participate in the performance race.
Nevertheless, the "reds" are also planning to demonstrate at CES 2025 some RDNA 4-based Radeon RX 8000 models in the mid-range and higher price range.
