We recently wrote that Qualcomm is working on a simplified version of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 processor. Thanks to the insider @heyitsyogesh , we already know when the new product will be released.
According to the leak, the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 will be released in the first quarter of 2025.

Ideally they should not change the naming schemeThe processor has the model number SM8735. The exact characteristics of Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 are not yet available, but it is known that the performance of the new chip will be at the level of Snapdragon 8 Gen 3.
By the way, Qualcomm is also working on the SM8775 chip, but it is not yet known what kind of SoC it is and when it will be released.
As for the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4, it will make its debut at the Snapdragon Summit 2024 event in late October.
