In addition to the Legion Y700 (2024) tablet, Lenovo also showed a new game controller - the Legion G7.
The device supports smartphones and tablets. It comes with a 3.5 mm jack and a built-in USB-C port. Lenovo claims that the connection provides zero latency, which is quite important for gaming. By the way, the USB-C connector is movable. This makes it easier to align the gadget.
Another feature of the Lenovo Legion G7 is its Hall-effect joysticks. Compared to their mechanical counterparts, they provide a longer service life and increased accuracy. They are also less prone to joint drift. Joystick caps are interchangeable.
The front panel of the controller is also replaceable. It is attached to the case with magnets. The new product comes with ABXY buttons that can be reconfigured through the proprietary software.
The Legion G7 game controller is already available for pre-order in China for $70. It is still unknown whether the new product will appear on the global market.
