Xiaomi held a global presentation where it showed many new devices, including the new Xiaomi 14T and 14T Pro series of smartphones.
The new models feature 6.67-inch FHD+ AMOLED screens with a refresh rate of 144 Hz and brightness of up to 4000 nits, Dimensity processors, triple Leica cameras, and 5000 mAh batteries.
The 14T Pro is the more powerful of the two. The model runs on the Dimensity 9300+ chip paired with 12 GB or 16 GB of RAM. The gadget supports 120W wired charging and 50W wireless charging.
The 14T Pro also has a larger 1/1.31" sensor. This is a 50MP Light Fusion 900 sensor with an aperture of f/1.6. In addition, it has another 50 MP zoom camera with f/2.0 aperture. The smartphone is also equipped with a 12 MP sensor with a 15 mm f/2.2 ultra-wide-angle lens.
The Xiaomi 14T does not have wireless charging and has slower wired charging (67 W) and a less powerful chip - Dimensity 8300 Ultra. The main camera of the smartphone uses a smaller 1/1.56-inch 50-megapixel IMX906 sensor, and the telephoto lens is 10 mm shorter at 50 mm f/1.9. However, it's still a 50-megapixel sensor. The ultra-wide-angle camera with a 15 mm f/2.2 aperture is the same.
Both smartphones are equipped with the HyperOS interface with AI functions.
Sales of Xiaomi 14T and Xiaomi 14T Pro will begin in Europe in early October. The base model will cost from €650, and the top model will start at €800.
