Nothing has announced a new compact charger under the CMF brand with a maximum output power of 100 W, Gizmochina reports.
The charger has dimensions of 61.5 × 60.5 × 30 mm and three ports: one USB Type-A and two USB Type-C, for simultaneous charging of multiple devices.
The novelty uses GaN (gallium nitride) technology, which is known for its efficiency and heat management capabilities. In addition, the charger has nine safety mechanisms, including overheating, short circuit, overcurrent, and leakage protection.
According to the manufacturer, the charger can replenish the CMF Phone and Nothing Phone (2a) Plus battery from 1 to 62% in just 30 minutes. The new product can also be used with tablets, laptops, and compact game consoles.
Nothing has already started selling the new product for $40, but only in India. The charger is likely to be released in other countries later.
By the way, the other day Nothing also showed Ear (open) sports headphones with an open design and up to 30 hours of battery life.
