The BMW 1-Series was introduced relatively recently, and now the range of versions is being expanded, so there are a lot of interesting things to discover.
For example, the M Technology package is now available for the BMW M135 sports variant, which makes this car even hotter. After all, the package includes new shock absorbers and a stabilizer bar, more durable brakes with perforated discs, black 19-inch wheels, and much more. However, the 2-liter 300-horsepower engine remains unchanged, as does the all-wheel drive system. That is: all the improvements are for handling and braking.
Along with the debut of the "twice sporty" version of the BMW M135 M Technology, the most basic version of the BMW 1 Series also appeared. This is the BMW 116 with a 1.5-liter 3-cylinder gasoline engine that produces 122 hp and 230 Nm. However, even the simplest and most affordable variant of the BMW 1 Series does not have a manual: such basic BMW 116 cars receive a 7-speed robotic transmission.
Although, how to say "affordable option"? After all, even the BMW 116 only starts at a price of about 33 thousand euros in Germany, and the maximum variants of the BMW M135 can easily increase the price tag by 1.5-2 times.
