Nothing held a presentation to showcase its new fully wireless headphones.

The new product is called Ear (open). It's a sporty model with an open construction and a transparent design, like other headphones of the brand.

Each earbud weighs 8.1 grams and is IP54-rated for dust and water resistance. The model is equipped with 14.2 mm titanium-coated drivers and a Bluetooth 5.3 module that supports pairing with two devices. Each earbud has two microphones that are responsible for Clear Voice 3.0 technology.

Like previous Nothing headphones, Ear (open) works with the Nothing X app. You can customize and share your equalizer profiles, reassign controls, and update the firmware. The headphones also support Find My network, low-latency gaming, and ChatGPT integration (requires Nothing smartphone).

Ear (open) are designed for up to 8 hours of operation. The charging case will allow the new product to work for up to 30 hours. It is charged via a USB-C connector. There is no wireless charging.

Ear (open) sales will begin on October 1, 2024. The headphones will cost $149/€149/£129.
