As a result, the Lenovo laptop was able to play videos for 23 hours and 54 minutes, 5 hours and 22 minutes longer than the MacBook with M3 and 5 hours and 35 minutes longer than the M2.
For the test, we used a locally downloaded H.264 video in 1080P resolution at 24 FPS. The brightness of the laptops was set to 150 nits, and Wi-Fi and keyboard backlighting were turned off.
This internal Lenovo test confirmed Intel's claims that Lunar Lake processors have better battery life than ARM-based laptops. In addition, Acer and Asus, which are also preparing laptops with new Intel chips, claim 29 hours of battery life, and Dell claims 26 hours.
