ASUS unveils new solutions for content creators at IBC 2024

ASUS took part in the International Broadcast Conference (IBC) 2024, where it presented many new devices for content creation, including monitors, motherboards, as well as computers and minicomputers.

ASUS has shown the new ProArt Display PA32UCE and ProArt Display PA27UCGE monitors. These 32-inch and 27-inch 4K HDR monitors with 600 cd/m brightness deliver rich and accurate colors and 98% DCI-P3 color gamut coverage. They are pre-calibrated at the factory to achieve an average ΔE of less than 1.

Both monitors feature ASUS Light Sync solutions, including ambient light and backlight sensors. The backlight sensor automatically increases the brightness of the screen at startup, and the ambient light sensor automatically adjusts the monitor's color gamut based on the ambient light. In addition, the ProArt Display PA27UCGE also features a high refresh rate of 160Hz for smooth image reproduction.

At the ProArt booth, visitors were also able to try out the world's first 8K HDR mini LED monitor, the ProArt Display 8K PA32KCX. This 32-inch monitor has a ΔE value of less than 1 for unmatched color accuracy.

ASUS also showed two motherboards: ProArt X870E-Creator WiFi and Pro WS WRX90E-SAGE SE. With the ProArt X870E-Creator WiFi, users will benefit from the latest AI-powered technology. This board offers a state-of-the-art set of features, such as DDR5 RAM support, two PCle 5.0 x16 slots that can work in x8/x8 configuration, and four M.2 slots.

The ProArt X870E-Creator WiFi also features a Marvell AQtion 10Gb Ethernet controller, which provides high-speed access to local network resources, such as NAS devices. In addition, this board provides support for Wi-Fi 7 and 2.5Gb Ethernet (Intel controller). In addition, it features two USB4 ports and a wide variety of high-speed USB ports and a 20Gbps USB port connector on the front panel with support for Power Delivery 3.0 and Quick Charge 4+ (up to 30W).

The ASUS Pro WS WRX90E-SAGE SE motherboard delivers speed, compatibility, and stability for content creation, software development, machine learning, and more. For advanced AMD Ryzen Threadripper PRO 7000 WX series processors with 96 cores, 32+3+3+3+3 phases of power are perfectly suited to deliver the performance potential professionals need to run the most advanced applications.

The Pro WS WRX90E-SAGE SE is suitable for a wide range of scenarios and industries with integrated PCIe power connectors that provide additional support for multiple graphics cards, active cooling on VRM heatsinks, 40Gbps USB, SlimSAS and integrated BMC. The board offers extensive connectivity options, including seven high-speed PCIe 5.0 x16 slots, two 10Gb Ethernet ports, four M.2 slots, two USB4 40Gbps (Type-C) ports on the rear panel, and SlimSAS NVMe support.

It also supports up to 2TB of DDR5 ECC R-DIMMs (1DPC) and features a robust design that includes the aforementioned power supply system with two 8-pin CPU power connectors, massive VRM, chipset, and M.2 device cooling heatsinks with active fans, and thermal pads for M.2 SSDs.

ASUS has also introduced the ExpertCenter Pro ET900A X9, a professional workstation based on AMD Ryzen Threadripper PRO 7000 WX series processors with DDR5 ECC R-DIMMs, 10Gb Ethernet, and support for up to four NVIDIA Quadro RTX graphics cards. It offers up to four M.2 PCIe 5.0 slots, four SATA 6Gbps ports, USB Type-C (40Gbps and 20Gbps), a Titanium power supply with up to 2000W, and ASUS Control Center Express.

For those who need a more compact option, ASUS has introduced the NUC 14 Pro AI. This is a mini AI NUC PC powered by Intel Core Ultra 9 (Series 2) processors. It delivers exceptional performance with its multi-architecture of CPU, GPU, and NPU, achieving a combined AI performance of 120 TOPS. Its powerful neural processing unit (NPU) delivers up to 48 TOPS of performance and significantly expands the use of artificial intelligence.

The ASUS NUC 14 Pro AI packs powerful components into a compact chassis that is less than 0.6 liters and only 34 mm high, making it ideal for commercial use. The computer combines superior graphics capabilities with innovative on-board LPDDR5x memory to deliver high performance and stability in a wide range of IoT scenarios. The ASUS NUC 14 Pro AI delivers reliable 24/7 performance with an advanced cooling system, meets EPEAT Climate+ energy efficiency standards, and prioritizes security with features such as Secure Boot, fingerprint recognition, and a TPM module.

In addition, ASUS also introduced new networking solutions for artificial intelligence, including the ASUS RT-BE92U router. It supports three Wi-Fi 7 bands and the new 320 MHz channels, all of which provide data transfer speeds of up to 9700 Mbps. Using the Smart Home Master wizard, users can create up to three SSIDs to set up separate networks for employees, visitors, and IoT devices. With AiProtection Pro information security and extensive VPN capabilities, the RT-BE92U is the ideal router for studios that prioritize security and high-speed connectivity in their creative environments.

The company has introduced another ExpertWiFi router, the EBG19P, which is suitable for small and medium-sized creative studios that need reliable network connectivity. It has eight PoE+ ports for connecting PoE-enabled devices, and the VLAN feature enhances network security. Multiple WAN ports with load balancing and fault tolerance features ensure a stable connection.

The company also introduced the ZenWiFi BD4 Outdoor mesh system, designed to operate in difficult outdoor conditions. Wi-Fi standard 7, two frequency bands, 4K-QAM and MLO support ensure high-speed, uninterrupted data transmission. With an IP65-rated enclosure, a variety of mounting options, and PoE support, the BD4 Outdoor will withstand the elements to provide consistent Wi-Fi coverage.

And finally, the last new product presented is the ExpertWiFi EBA63 access point for studios with a large area and number of connected devices. It provides speeds of up to 3000 Mbps and supports up to 100 active devices. Wall and ceiling mounting options ensure that it fits into any creative workspace.
