Amazfit presented the T-Rex 3 smartwatch at IFA 2024 in Berlin.
Amazfit T-Rex 3 has a new design that distinguishes it from its predecessors. The display remains circular, and the stainless steel bezel is now shaped like an octagon rather than a circle. It still retains the textured buttons and red markers at 12 and 6 o'clock.
Among the updates is a larger 1.5-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 480×480p. The display is not only larger, but also 100% brighter (2000 nits) than the previous generation. It also has Gorilla Glass protection and a glove mode. The T-Rex 3 uses a 22mm strap.
Amazfit T-Rex 3 can measure heart rate throughout the day, blood oxygen saturation, stress levels, respiratory rate, and skin temperature.
The watch comes with Zepp OS 4, which has integrated artificial intelligence features and an AI assistant based on OpenAI's GPT-4o. There is also an app for controlling Sonos sound systems.
The T-Rex 3 has a new ZPS3044 processor, 64 MB of RAM, and 32 GB of internal storage for offline playlists, maps, and apps.
The model supports up to 170 sport modes. The new product has a 10 ATM rating. T-Rex 3 also boasts a circular antenna polarization, dual-band positioning, and a six-satellite positioning system. The Chinese and European versions have an NFC module for contactless payments. The T-Rex 3 is powered by a 700 mAh battery.
The Amazfit T-Rex 3 costs €299 in Europe and $299 in the US. The watch is available in Onyx and Lava colors.
