The new-generation Toyota Camry sedan was introduced almost a year ago. The car is gradually entering new markets and receiving new variants.
For example, a version of the Toyota Camry for the Middle East market was recently introduced, and it turned out that such a car can be equipped not only with a hybrid but also with a conventional gasoline engine.
We are talking about a 2.5-liter 4-cylinder atmospheric engine developing 204 hp and 240 Nm of torque; it will be combined with the usual 8-speed automatic and front-wheel drive. This combination promises a more attractive price point while maintaining quite sufficient performance.
However, an even lower price can be offered by the Chinese version of the Toyota Camry, which has a 2-liter turbocharged engine combined with a CVT. However, the question remains: will the 177-horsepower engine be enough for a rather large and heavy car?
In addition to information about conventional atmospheric engines, images of the car's interior in simple base versions have also appeared. Compare for yourself in the photos below: while the maximum Toyota Camry trims are ready to offer a 12.3-inch central display and dual-zone climate control, the base model has a relatively small 8-inch central display, single-zone climate control, fewer buttons on the steering wheel, etc.
We won't have to wait long for the new model: the next-generation Toyota Camry sedan is due to arrive in Ukraine this fall. And right now the question is what versions of the car we will get. We hope that, in addition to the expensive and high-tech hybrid, Ukraine will also offer more affordable versions with conventional atmospheric engines, which will help keep the price of the car reasonable.
