A few months ago, Xiaomi showed the SU7 Ultra electric sports car concept, and then announced that it plans to release a production version of the car. Now, the brand's CEO has revealed when exactly to expect the new product.
According to Lei Jun, the car will enter the market in the first quarter of 2025. That is, between January and March.
The SU7 Ultra will come with a "beginner mode" that will require new owners to pass a step-by-step exam to unlock all the features of the Xiaomi car.
The SU7 Ultra has 1,548 hp and can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 1.97 seconds and from 0 to 200 km/h in 5.96 seconds. The top speed of the car exceeds 350 km/h.
The production model will have the same chassis structure, the same electric motors and the same battery as the prototype.
