The first Apple computers with the M4 chip may appear as early as the end of this year. MacBook Pro, Mac mini, and iMac will get the latest chip, MacRumors writes, citing a Bloomberg report by Mark Gurman.
The main goal of the update will be to increase power and ensure better and faster performance of artificial intelligence tasks. However, it is also noted that one of the Mac models "will get more dramatic changes."
Apple claimed that its new iPad Pro with the M4 chip, which debuted in May 2024, exemplifies its new device design philosophy. The company plans to offer "the thinnest and lightest products" in every category in the tech industry. Earlier, Gurman reported that Apple is working on a thinner version of the MacBook Pro.
MacBook Air, Mac Pro, and Mac Studio will receive their next-generation chips in 2025.
