Halo the Series, a high-budget series based on the Halo game franchise from 343 Industries and Xbox, has been canceled after two seasons. This was reported by Variety.
In a statement to the publication, Paramount+ also confirmed that it had canceled the third season of the series and thanked 343 Industries, Xbox, Amblin Television, and showrunner David Wiener for their work.
It is reported that 343 Industries, Xbox, and Amblin Television will now try to find a new service to continue working on the series.
The first season of Halo the Series was released in 2022 and received mixed reviews. On IMDb, the show has a 7.3 rating based on 97 thousand votes. On the Rotten Tomatoes website, the freshness score from critics is 70%, while the audience score is only 52%.
The second season of the series aired from February to the end of March 2024. So far, the future of the show remains a mystery.
