The large luxury SUV Cadillac Escalade has been updated and made more modern. For example, the car now has a new "face" with vertical headlights and an enlarged grille - in general, this design resembles the latest Cadillac Escalade IQ and Cadillac Celestiq electric vehicles.
There are also updated headlights and exhaust pipes, new body colors and 22-inch wheels, and even 24-inch wheels can be ordered as an option. Similarly, the Cadillac Escalade-V sport version has been updated, with a new front bumper with air intakes, dark gray wheels, and a 2x2 exhaust system.
Moreover, both Cadillac Escalade and Cadillac Escalade-V are now powered exclusively by a 6.2-liter V8 gasoline engine: the turbodiesel engine has been removed from the range due to low demand. The Cadillac Escalade SUV receives an atmospheric engine with a capacity of 426 hp, and the sport version is characterized by a compressor engine that develops 691 hp.
Other changes to the Cadillac Escalade include a completely redesigned interior, which again reminds us of the Escalade IQ. Thus, the front panel is now formed by a 55-inch display consisting of two elements - a separate 35-inch display for the driver and a 20-inch display for the passenger. In addition, there is a new center console with a round switch washer and a new steering wheel.
The Cadillac Escalade offers a particularly luxurious package for rear passengers: separate seats, a folding table, a center console with an additional display. And the Cadillac Escalade-V version boasts carbon fiber interior décor and dark leather upholstery.
The Cadillac Escalade will be launched at the end of this year, with an estimated starting price of $95 thousand in the US market. However, the maximum versions of the Cadillac Escalade or Cadillac Escalade-V will probably easily cross the $100 thousand mark.
