Netflix has unveiled the first teaser trailer for the upcoming anime Terminator: Zero. The premiere of 8 episodes will take place on August 29.
The anime will tell the story of 1997, when scientist Malcom Lee is working on the launch of a new artificial intelligence system to compete with Skynet, which is about to attack humanity.
However, Malcom is being hunted by a relentless killer from the future. In order to protect him, a soldier from 2022 is transported to 1997 to protect the scientist at all costs.
Terminator: Zero is being written and produced by Mattson Tomlin, who worked with Matt Reeves on the scripts for the two Batman films starring Robert Pattinson. Skydannce and Production I.G. are responsible for the production.
