I'm not going to ramble on for a long time (especially since we've already thoroughly reviewed the new Volkswagen Tiguan); instead, I'll briefly talk about the most important thing. Namely, of course, the Ukrainian price tags for the third-generation Volkswagen Tiguan crossover. After all, I personally consider the starting price of 1.6 million hryvnias or about $40 thousand for the new Volkswagen Tiguan in the Life configuration to be very good!
And now we are not talking about an "empty" car. The Volkswagen Tiguan Life crossover offers a 150 hp 2.0 TDI turbo diesel engine and a 7-speed DSG transmission, a digital instrument panel and 3-zone climate control, a multimedia system with a 12.9-inch display and support for wireless smartphone connections, heated front seats and steering wheel, a rearview camera, 17-inch alloy wheels, LED headlights, and more. The list goes on and on; but there's only one thing that stops it - front-wheel drive.
Do you want an all-wheel drive? Then you need to take the Volkswagen Tiguan in the Elegance version: in this case, you will get all-wheel drive and a more powerful turbodiesel engine (193 hp), as well as high beam assist, front seats with massage function, heated rear seats, Harman Kardon audio, and much more. However, the price tag will be higher, starting at UAH 1.8 million or about $44 thousand.
From what has become known additionally. Firstly, they are currently considering expanding the range of engines for Ukraine with other engines - the next one should be a 2.0 TSI gasoline turbo engine with 265 hp: wow, not bad! However, this engine will have to wait until the beginning of next year.
Second, it is also possible to launch a version of the Volkswagen Tiguan R-Line that combines the maximum equipment with sporty accents. However, we will have to wait for it as well: this car may appear early next year or even a little later. Everything will depend on the start of production of the Volkswagen Tiguan R-Line and the agreement with the plant on the possibility of supplying it to Ukraine.
Finally, the first Volkswagen Tiguan cars are already arriving in Ukraine - these are dealer cars for test drives. That is, soon everyone will be able to get acquainted with the new Volkswagen Tiguan in person.
So, the new Volkswagen Tiguan is already starting its career in Ukraine - and it starts with a fairly adequate price. We wish them success!
