Over the past few years, minicomputers have become increasingly popular. They are more energy efficient and obviously compact. It's also interesting to see the variety of designs from manufacturers. A new minicomputer from the Chinese manufacturer LingLong fits into a keyboard that can be folded in half. This was reported by TechRadar.
The LingLong contains a battery on one side and a motherboard, processor, memory, storage, and cooling system on the other.
It is equipped with an AMD Ryzen 7 8840U processor. This is an octa-core Zen 4 processor with Radeon 780M graphics. The minicomputer has 1 USB 3.0 Type-A, 1 USB4 Type-C, and 1 USB 3.2 Type-C ports, and Wi-Fi 6 support.
The battery provides 10 hours of work time, 6 hours of video playback, and 4 hours of gaming time. Multiple configurations are available with up to 32GB of DDR5 RAM and up to 1TB of storage.
This is an ideal mini-PC for office workers who need to take a laptop to and from work. It costs $412 for the 16GB/512GB model and $495 for the 32GB/1TB model.
