According to Gurman, the design and specs of future MacBook Pros will "probably stay pretty much the same," since Apple revamped the lineup just last year, adding MagSafe charging, more ports, and better displays.
While Apple is reportedly hoping to release the new MacBook Pros in the fall, Gurman notes that the company could delay them until spring 2023. "Given the ongoing supply chain issues, it's difficult to predict exactly when they will hit store shelves," he writes. The new Macs are just one of a "stream" of products Apple plans to release over the next year. In another recent newsletter, Gurman wrote that the company is also working on a new HomePod and Apple Watch for extreme sports.
