Due to the long shortage and inflated prices of NVIDIA and AMD graphics cards, Intel's attempt to enter this market with its Intel ARC solution is causing serious interest among gamers. But how competitive will the GPU of a company that has not released discrete graphics cards for a decade?
Yesterday, March 30th, Intel announced the availability of the Intel ARC 3 mobile GPUs (as announced in February) and revealed the look of desktop graphics cards and their availability.
Yes, the first Intel ARC graphics cards (as well as more powerful versions of mobile GPUs—Arc 5 and Arc 7) are expected in the summer. However, the release is called Limited Edition, and it is not known whether this is due to the limited number of video cards that will go on sale, or the nature of the video cards from the manufacturer (similar to NVIDIA video cards in Founder's Edition).
Unfortunately, apart from the beautiful rendering of the video card, no additional information was made public: you can see only a two-slot design, a dual cooling system and one HDMI and three DisplayPort connectors. Moreover, if the render is correct, it can be assumed that the desktop Intel ARC does not have an additional power connector. There is also no official information on specifications and prices at the moment – this clearly deserves a separate announcement, according to Intel.
