The Kickstarter campaign for Chernobylite 2: Exclusion Zone, a role-playing shooter set in the Chernobyl zone by Polish studio The Farm 51, has ended. The developers have raised $205,377, which is more than twice as much as planned.

Among the intermediate goals achieved by the benefactors: the ability to switch between first- and third-person cameras; all weapons from the original Chernobylite, additional locations for solo and cooperative missions; special weapon customization; HUD customization.

In honor of the campaign's completion, the developers revealed that during 2014-2022 they visited the Exclusion Zone 31 times (it seems to be even more than the developers of S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2). During these trips, they walked more than 5,000 km (apparently, all together) and took 35,340 photos (by the way, the digital photo album of the original Chernobylite is really cool).

The first part of Chernobylite, which was released in 2021, when there was no certainty about the reality of S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2, is called S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 1.5 by some reviewers. According to the developers, more than 2 million players have played the original Chernobylite, which was released on Windows, PlayStation 4/5, Xbox One/Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch. Sales of the game on Steam alone range from 400 thousand to 1 million copies.

In addition to Chernobylite and GET EVEN games, The Farm 51 studio also has a VR program Chernobyl VR Project (2016), which, by the way, has not been released from the Early Access.
