The company ended the presentation of the flagship line of Samsung Galaxy S25 with a teaser of a completely new model - Galaxy S25 Edge. The main feature of the smartphone will be its thin body. But as expected, this will lead to certain limitations compared to the current devices in the line.
The company itself did not say much about the smartphone. It is only known that its name will be Galaxy S25 Edge, it is thin ("about 6 mm") and has two cameras, while other representatives of the lineup have three.
The OnLeaks insider updated his previous information on Smartprix, which turned out to be slightly inaccurate. Now he claims that the dimensions of the smartphone will be 158.2×75.5×5.84 mm, which is less than what the insider revealed a month ago.
As he explains, Samsung abandoned the third camera precisely to maintain even smaller dimensions. Actually, this is the reason for this situation. An ICE UNIVERSE insider also confirms some of the updated data.
Among other things, the smartphone will feature flat glass panels and a metal chassis, a Snapdragon 8 Elite processor, a 200-megapixel wide-angle camera and a 50-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera, and a 3,900 mAh battery with support for 25-watt induction charging.
Actually, the battery raises some doubts. A smartphone with a fairly large display, flagship processor, and cameras may require a larger battery. For example, the basic Galaxy S25 has a 4,000 mAh battery, but it also has a smaller screen.
According to insiders, the presentation will take place in April-May 2025, so we will have to wait a little longer to confirm (or deny) the previous leaks.
