Soon, Google Chrome will be able to help users automatically change passwords - an experimental feature at the testing stage.

According to Android Authority, citing X social network user @Leopeva64, who discovered the code, this feature is not yet publicly available, so it is not possible to say for sure when Google will release it to everyone.

The publication notes that the new feature is likely to work as follows: if the user's password is hacked due to a data breach, the browser will offer to automatically change it when logging in to the account; the user will not have to worry that the password will change without his or her knowledge.

The new password will then be updated in Google Password Manager, and there will be no need to memorize it. According to the publication, Google introduced this feature as part of artificial intelligence, and it is currently undergoing testing, so some bugs can be expected.

Previously, a similar feature already existed, but this time the process has been greatly simplified - users will need to take fewer steps.

Although the release date of this feature is not yet known, the publication notes that it can be very useful, as hackers often gain access to data, and it is not easy to keep track of all leaks. Thus, automatic password updates can help improve user security.
