In addition, the update addresses a vulnerability in the operating system related to the USB Restricted Mode, which Apple introduced in iOS 11.4.1 in 2018 to protect against attempts to bypass device passwords and compromise user data.
By the way, Apple has already fixed USB restricted access vulnerabilities before, and in iOS 18, it added a new "reboot due to inactivity" feature that restarts unused devices after a few days, forcing them to enter a password to access them.
