Acer has introduced new gaming laptops Predator Helios Neo 16 AI and Predator Helios Neo 18 AI. The new products are equipped with processors up to Intel Core Ultra 9 275HX and laptop graphics cards up to NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5070 Ti. Both models also support artificial intelligence functions and will be available in Ukraine in the summer.
Acer's new products share many similarities. Both the Predator Helios Neo 16 AI and Neo 18 AI come with Intel Core Ultra 9 275HX and Ultra 7 255HX processors, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5070 or 5070 Ti graphics cards for laptops, up to 64GB of 6400Hz DDR5 RAM, and up to 2TB of 4th generation PCIe storage. Despite the difference in size, both laptops also have the same 90 Wh battery.
At the same time, Acer has equipped the devices with 5th generation AeroBlade 3D fans, liquid metal thermal paste and vector heat pipes for cooling. The laptops also have a Full HD infrared camera, support for Predator Sense 5.0, Experience Zone 2.0, Acer PurifiedView 2.0 AI webcam function, and a triple microphone, PurifiedVoice 2.0, ProCam, and Copilot chatbot. The purchase of the devices will be accompanied by three free months of PC Game Pass.
However, not everything in the new laptops is the same, the differences lie in the set of ports, as well as in the size of both the devices and their displays. The Acer Predator Helios Neo 16 AI has a 16-inch OLED display with a resolution of 2560 x 1600 or 1920 x 1200 pixels, a refresh rate of 180 to 240 Hz, a brightness of 400 to 500 nits, and options with 100% DCI-P3 or sRGB color coverage.
The larger model, the Predator Helios Neo 18 AI, has an 18-inch Mini LED with a resolution of 1920 x 1200 to 2560 x 1600 pixels, a refresh rate of up to 250 Hz, 100% DCI-P3 coverage or sRGB in the cheapest version, and brightness from 300 to 500 nits.
Both laptops also have Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.3 or higher, Intel Killer Ethernet E3100G, one Thunderbolt 4 Type-C port, one USB 3.2 Type C 2nd Generation, dual USBA 3.2. Type-A 2nd generation, HDMI 2.1, a microSD reader, and a 3.5mm audio jack.
Acer Predator Helios Neo 16 AI (PHN16-73) will go on sale in Ukraine in June at an estimated price of UAH 79,999, and Predator Helios Neo 18 AI (PHN18-72) in July at a price of UAH 92,999.
