LG has introduced its new UltraGear Bendable Gaming Monitor lineup. One of the models features the world's first flexible OLED display with a 5K resolution.
The 45-inch monitor offers an extended resolution of 5120×2160 pixels, specifically designed for a 21:9 aspect ratio. The Dual-Mode technology allows adjusting the aspect ratio (21:9 or 16:9) and image sizes (39, 34, or 27 inches) with a simple touch. The monitor can curve up to 900R.
LG also offers a non-flexible model with a constant curve of 800R. Like the flexible model, it features the same 45-inch size, 21:9 aspect ratio, and 5K resolution. Common features across both monitors include a 0.03 ms response time, support for DisplayPort 2.1, HDMI 2.1, and USB-C with 90W power. They utilize RGWB subpixel arrangement for improved text readability on the screen.
Additionally, LG showcased the UltraGear 39GX90SA curved monitor with webOS for easy access to streaming services. This smart monitor has a 39-inch diagonal, a 21:9 aspect ratio, and a 800R curve.
LG will provide more details about the new monitors at CES 2025, which begins on January 7, 2025. The prices for the monitors will be announced during the event.
