BlueSky, the relatively new social media platform competing with Threads and X, is adding new features. This time it has introduced a Trends tab.
Currently, it’s just the first version of the feature, which is being tested. Users will be able to find trending topics through the search button on smartphones or in the sidebar menu on the web version.
Merry Christmas from us to you 🎄🎁💙 We launched Trending Topics today, and you can find it by tapping the search icon on the bottom bar of the app or the right sidebar on desktop.
Users can block words they want to avoid, and those words will not appear in trends. For those who find the new feature unsuitable, there is an option to disable it in settings.
Currently, testing is only available in English, and the development team is continuously collecting user feedback. After the official release, support for additional languages will be added.
