ChatGPT can now receive calls from mobile phones, but only in the United States. At the same time, the OpenAI chatbot will be available globally in the WhatsApp messenger.
As part of the twelve-day announcements, the company announced that the chatbot has received its own mobile number - 1 (800) 242-8478 or 1 (800) CHAT-GPT. By adding this number to their contacts, users will be able to start communicating with the chatbot in the WhatsApp messenger.
US residents will also be able to use these numbers to call the chatbot from any phone, whether it is a modern smartphone or an old cell phone. Users will be able to talk to the chatbot for free for 15 minutes.
As for the WhatsApp version, it will also have certain limitations, in particular, only text will be available for use. Features such as enhanced voice mode or image or video recognition will not be available.
No additional authorization is required to use ChatGPT on WhatsApp, although OpenAI is currently working on a system that will recognize users.
