OpenAI has announced that ChatGPT Search is now available for all users of its chatbot, not just for subscribers of the paid version. ChatGPT Search is available through mobile apps and the chat.com website.
OpenAI also announced that users can set ChatGPT Search as the default search engine in their web browsers, further positioning it as a direct competitor to Google in the online search market.
The announcement is part of a 12-day series of product launches from OpenAI, which already includes a premium ChatGPT Pro subscription and an AI-powered video creation tool called Sora.
