S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl by Ukrainian studio GSC Game World has sold more than 1.5 million copies as of November 27, 2024, a week after its release. This is evidenced by Video Game Insight statistics.
In addition, it became known that Ukraine ranks second in terms of the total number of copies purchased, behind only the United States. The top four also includes Germany and China.
A month before the release of S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 on November 20, more than 400 thousand players added the game to their wishlist. After the release, the game passed the mark of more than 121 thousand simultaneous players.
Among other things, the analytical website Video Game Insight also notes that players have already spent an average of 12.4 hours in the game, and its gross revenue for the first week is $70.9 million. In addition, the game topped the list of the best-selling games for the week on Steam.
As a reminder, GSC Game World has promised to release a patch this week that should fix many of the issues players are facing.
