Lucid Motors has officially started accepting orders for the Gravity electric SUV, which the manufacturer showed back in 2022.
Interested buyers can already place a $1,000 deposit on the company's website for the Grand Touring package, which starts at $94,900. Production of the model is scheduled to begin at the end of 2024, and the first sales are expected in 2025.
Lucid promises that the Gravity Grand Touring crossover will be able to travel more than 440 miles (about 710 km) on a full battery charge. This battery powers two electric motors that produce 828 horsepower. The electric car also has two rows of seats, and a third can be installed if desired.
By the way, next year Lucid will also open orders for a cheaper Touring package. It will start at $79,900. Unfortunately, the characteristics of this version are still unknown.
