Of this list, the content of the streaming service Crunchyroll is one of the most popular, along with Funanimation, which was acquired in April 2024. A total of 45.1 million complaints have been filed on behalf of these two companies. The companies' claims regarding URLs amounted to 8.02 million and 37.09 million respectively. All these complaints were against websites illegally distributing anime and manga.
However, it is also interesting to note that while Crunchyroll, excluding Funanimation, received a total of 8.02 million complaints, the company itself reported only slightly more than 7,000 violations. More complaints were filed on behalf of both streaming services by Remove Your Media LLC, which is also the fifth largest complaint collector with over 680 million complaints.
Other companies among the most popular complainant organizations include Link-Busters.com with over 1.53 billion complaints, MG Premium LTD with 966 million, rivendell with over 902 million, comesco GmbH with 730 million, and BPI (British Recorded Music Industry) Ltd with 626 million.
